  After having lived on the streets of D.C. for 30 years, Gerard Thomas devotes his life to helping others. Perceptions of Veteran Service Organization Best Practices and Impact Survey

The Perceptions of Veteran Service Organization Best Practices and Impact survey is designed for veterans and family members to better understand their perceptions of the practices and operations of non-profit organizations that serve them in their communities.  This information will be used to aid the development of leading organizational practices to support more effective and impactful service-delivery to the post-9/11 veteran community nationwide.

All military service members (active duty, reserves, guard, veterans) and their families are eligible and encouraged to participate.

Give an Hour Co-Hosts an Introduction to Forensic Evaluations Training

On July 9, from 8:30am–12pm, a three-hour introduction to forensic evaluations for veterans was provided to interested volunteers by the Law and Psychiatry Division of Yale’s Department of Psychiatry, Give an Hour, and Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. Continuing education credits for psychologists was offered.
