  After having lived on the streets of D.C. for 30 years, Gerard Thomas devotes his life to helping others. Read about Gerard Thomas, a Vietnam War veteran who lived homeless on the streets of D.C. for 30 years. He’s now a peer veterans outreach worker and is the subject of Petula Dvorak's recent column in the Washington Post.
